Ode to Narcissism

Mission: Accomplished.

Today, I:

- Enjoyed a cup of coffee.

- Went to class.

- Had a witty exchange with one of my professors.

- Went to lunch with mom.

- Went shopping alone.

- Made a wonderful (vegetarian) stir-fry.

How’s that for being in recovery?

Ok, so it’s not sky-diving or anything, but it’s a start.  Nothing went wrong.  I had a few good conversations.  I spent time alone that did not involve being holed up in my room.  I did not write anything sad (although I did text something rather ridiculous to myself along the lines of: “My bitterness spoiled something sweet,” but I refuse to take that poem any further today).

I’d say, all-in-all, today was a success.

Now to find something intelligent and not stereotypically feminine to blog about.
